Playtime
G'Day! to all out there looking for a friendly, fun Play Group. Come along to Padstow Congregational Church  Playtime at 59 Faraday Road Padstow!

When:  Most Mondays 9:30AM to 11:30AM
Ages catered for: 0 -  5 years
Cost: Gold coin donation

Playtime is run, so children can interact with each other in a Christian environment.  Most weeks children participate in story- time, singing, craft and games. Stories and songs are usually from the Bible or a child's favourite. We have lots of indoor and outdoor toys and equipment for the children to use, including, dolls, train sets, dress-ups and puzzles.

Morning tea for the children usually comprises of fruit, biscuits and juice. Children bring a piece of fruit each week to share with the other children.  
Adults have either biscuits or something yummy that someone has brought in. (Please no nuts, as we are a nut-free Church).

Playtime is a great time for Parents, Grandparents and Carers to catch up and have a chat over a cup of tea or coffee. We have children of different ages, so it is often great to talk to someone who may have already experienced the same thing. We also chat about what is going on in the world, recipes, movies, etc.  Those of us who run Playtime, will at times talk about the Lord, and the latest happenings at Church. We may even invite you along to our Sunday Service, please do not feel pressured to come, but you are always welcome. Occasionally some of us will meet at a park, or for a coffee.

Each Sunday during church, there is a crèche for 0-3 year olds and 'Kids Biz' (all ages from 3 years) where the children will learn about God from the Bible by trained teachers. We also have a special service where the children from Playtime and Kids Biz can show family and friends what they have been doing. Church is each sunday at 10:00AM followed by a great morning tea.
