The Padstow East Hills Combined Churches Education Board is seeking a part-time (3 days/week) Scripture teacher for East Hills Girls’ Technology High School from the start of the 2009 school year. The position requires a Special Religious Education teacher to teach Scripture lessons to years 7 to 9 and seminars for Years 10 to 12.
The applicant needs to be a committed Christian and regular church attender prepared to commit to the Board’s objectives and Statement of Faith (a necessary occupational requirement). Preference will be given to applicants with theological training and tertiary teaching qualifications, or qualifications deemed equivalent. Also desirable is experience in ministry to secondary youth.
We are looking for a committed Christian person with a passion for sharing the good news of Jesus with high school students.
